SYNOPSIS
Promoted by the Instituto Ilhabela Sustentável through a socio-productive inclusion program by Fundação Banco do Brasil, the project Comer e Morar – Living in the Traditional Territory of the Atlantic Forest fostered the revival of bioconstruction techniques and agroforestry management. It was carried out in caiçara communities that continue to inhabit their traditional territories within the Atlantic Forest, specifically in the villages of Canto da Lagoa and Canto do Ribeirão at Praia de Castelhanos, and in the caiçara village of Guanxumas dos Búzios on Búzios Island.
